Decided to take a trip to the Oregon coast for my birthday. One of my favorite stops to make is always Ecola State Park. The drive from the entrance to the lookout is incredible. You drive down a narrow windy road that is so lush and dense with foliage that you can’t see the sky, or more than 20 feet in any direction. When you come out of the forest, you are atop cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

This was actually a bright and sunny sky, with the remains of the morning fog lingering over the coastline, and out to Haystack Rock. This is a stitched panorama from 3 or 4 shots.

Here are a few shots from our yearly group trip to the Oregon Coast.� Somehow we got a break of sunshine in the middle of twenty-something straight days of rain.� Nothing like cruising down the beach in Kendle’s Jeep with the top down.
