We decided to make a quick trip to Silver Falls after work, and some unplanned traffic had us arriving at Silver Falls State Park at 7pm, exactly one hour before the park closed.  A few side benefits of arriving late were complete lack of other people on the trail, as well as one heck of a sunset.

Here is one of my favorite shots of all time.  Andrea stands under a huge Oak tree “reaching” into the canyon where the falls spray showers of mist.
